President Speaks at the 2nd Strategic Partners Forum
Today in Astana, within the framework of the 2nd Strategic Partners Forum, the Head of State delivered a speech at the panel session titled “Kazakhstan – The Academic Hub.”
 In his remarks, the President emphasized the strategic importance of developing education and science.
 He noted that:
 Education and science are the most powerful forces capable of changing the world;
 The higher education infrastructure is being modernized — new campuses and dormitories are under construction;
 Five Kazakhstani universities have entered the Times Higher Education international ranking, which is a significant achievement;
 Kazakhstan is introducing educational tools based on ChatGPT and working on the establishment of a University of Artificial Intelligence;
 Currently, 33 branches of foreign universities operate in the country, all of which offer Kazakh language and History of Kazakhstan as mandatory subjects;
 By 2029, the number of international students in Kazakhstan is expected to reach 100,000.
Concluding his speech, the President stated:
“Strong universities are the factories of the future. The primary mission of science is to serve the benefit of humanity.”
