Kyzylorda Open University is one of the higher educational institutions with an established reputation in the education system of our region. The university started its history in 1998 with Kyzylorda Engineering and Economic Institute.

Today according to the license of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan the higher educational institution carries out educational activity on 23 educational programs of bachelor degree.

The main goal of the strategic development plan of the university is to become in the future one of the elite higher education institutions of international standard of our country and Central Asia.

Our mission is to train educated specialists with personal and professional qualities capable of contributing to the industrial-innovative development of our region and country.

One of the main directions of the University's activity is the realization of the Concept of development of higher education and science in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029.

Today, the University has signed memorandums and contracts with several foreign universities and expanded the scope of international cooperation. Among them are Korean National Open University, University of Bydgoszcz in Poland, Trakia University in Bulgaria, Yesenyurt University in Istanbul, Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, Russian State Agrarian University named after K.A. Timiryazev - Moscow Academy of Agriculture, Moscow Academy of Entrepreneurship, Kazan Federal University (Republic of Tatarstan ), Polotsk State University of Belarus, Osh State University, Karakalpak State University named after Berdak, etc. there are educational institutions.

Several scientific projects are being implemented in the direction of scientific and innovative development.

The educational institution has a modern material and technical base. In 2012, a new library was built, in 2014-2016, two new educational buildings, and in the 2017-2018 academic year, a new educational-laboratory complex was put into operation.

Our main goal is to train highly qualified and competitive specialists. Over 25 years of history, the university has trained more than ten thousand specialists.

Our main goal is to educate professionals who are competitive in the labor market and individuals who have internalized national values and serve their people faithfully.

We are on the path of sustainable development in the field of education with a comprehensive search and a life attitude that the heights are still ahead.

In its work the department of documentary support is guided by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, resolutions and orders of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, concerning the organization of record keeping and archival work, the instruction on record keeping of the University.

Purpose: improvement of the system of documentary support of the department, organization of current record keeping of the University with application of information technologies.

Tasks and functions:

Ensuring a uniform order of organization and maintenance of office work in the structural units of the university, unification of document forms, creation of templates of university documents.
Organization of office work in accordance with standards and regulatory and methodological documents.
Organizational and methodical management of work with documents in structural subdivisions. 4.
Organization of control over the timely execution of documents in accordance with the resolutions of the university management.
Providing the appropriate regime of access to the documents having a confidentiality label and the use of information contained in them;
Drawing up a consolidated nomenclature of affairs of the university, control over the correct formation and execution of cases in structural subdivisions;
Development of normative and methodological documents on record keeping (instructions on work with documents, forms of official documents, unified forms of documents).
Registration and accounting of documents, reference and information work on documents.
Receipt, registration, accounting, storage and distribution of incoming, outgoing and internal documentation.
Operational search and issuance of information on documents.
Introduction of new information technologies in work with documents.

Control over the compliance with the established order of work with documents.

Fundamental researches are conducted in the department, one of which is "Development of technology of phosphogypsum application as a multi-component fertilizer in rice crop rotation" - the head of the theme is a senior researcher of the department, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Tautenov Ibadulla Aygaliyevich and co-executors are junior researchers of the department M.Sc. Seytkhan Khalifa Agytaikyzy and Zhubandyk Gulsezim Samuratkyzyzy
