STUDENTS OF OPEN UNIVERSITY OF KYZYLORDA PARTICIPATE IN BINAR 2025 INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CAMP

Students of Open University of Kyzylorda are taking part in the BINAR 2025 international summer camp organized by Universitas Terbuka (Indonesia). BINAR (Bina Budaya Antarbangsa) is the first international summer camp launched by Universitas Terbuka with the aim of fostering internationalization and global partnerships.

This year marks the second edition of the program. Compared to last year, the number of participating countries and universities has increased. BINAR 2025 brings together 115 international students from 27 universities across 22 countries, including representatives from Open University of Kyzylorda (Kazakhstan). Additionally, 23 local students from Yogyakarta, Indonesia have joined the camp, highlighting the growing international relevance and recognition of the BINAR program.

At the opening ceremony, Rahmat Budiman, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Universitas Terbuka, emphasized that BINAR serves as a key platform for learning in both online and offline formats, promoting cultural exchange and international cooperation. He expressed confidence that the program expands students’ horizons and strengthens collaboration in higher education.

As part of the event, a technical briefing was held to introduce the online phase of BINAR 2025, selection criteria for the offline component, and the organizational procedures.
